I. The Burden

VII. The Testing
Yet, not all who partook of this miraculous sustenance did so with humility and appreciation. Some allowed greed to cloud their judgment, hoarding manna in their tents rather than consuming it within the prescribed time frame. These disobedient souls soon found themselves afflicted by worms and rottenness, a stark reminder of Yahweh's watchful eye over His chosen people.
VIII. The Bitter Waters
While the manna sustained their bodies, the Israelites still struggled with finding clean water to quench their thirst. In desperation, they turned to the bitter waters at Marah, crying out once more to Moses for deliverance.
