I. The Burden

V. A New Land

Here, the Lord appeared to him once more, saying: "To your descendants I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates - all the land of Canaan I will give as an everlasting possession."

One day, while hosting a great feast to celebrate the covenant between himself and his neighbors, God appeared to Abraham once more: "I am the Almighty God; walk before Me faithfully and be blameless." In that moment, Abraham knew that he had fulfilled the divine promise given to him long ago.
